But I Have No Choice

Ever so excited to play a game because you know it is going to be great or you have heard great things? Then throw it in and realize that the prologue of the game is god awful. Know I know every game cannot have a prologue up to The Last of Us caliber, but those of this list are just plain awful, and all of them are great games.

5. The Witcher 2: Assassin's of Kings

So sometimes prologues are bad because you just aren't ready for anything in the game. Witcher 2 starts out with you remembering a siege. You are part of it with no combat training whatsoever and it can be tiresome and frustrating

4. The Ren and Stimpy Show: Time Warp

So there is nothing like having to collect something to progressin the game. Problem with this though is they don't tell you. If you fail to collect the required number your game is over and you start over. All the while you are unaware of the time constraint.

3. Assassin's Creed II

So I love this game as you may know. The fight scene and the running to meet Christina so tiresome and boring. You don't even realize the significance of the whole Christina visit really until you play through Brotherhood. I understand what they were doing, but this could have been done much better.

2. Kingdom Hearts II

Nothing like starting the game playing someone you weren't expecting and completing a much of mundane tasks and jobs. All so you can get into the action. Does anyone like doing this?

1. Heavy Rain

One of my favourite games starts off with you at home completely your daily routine. You get to brush your teeth, draw, and other exciting tasks. I understand this is to teach the player the controls, but it comes across as dull and boring, and I know some people just have stopped playing the game in general because of it.

There you have it my list for the worst Prologues in gaming. Agree or Disagree let me know as always.
